DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Casey Anthony's father, George Anthony, was seriously injured in a rollover crash on I-4 Saturday afternoon.
George Anthony was driving his wife's 1999 Toyota 4-Runner on I-4 westbound in Daytona Beach when he lost control causing it to flip and overturn several times, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the Toyota traveled through the right, center and left lanes before coming to a final rest in the median.
Anthony told troopers he did not remember what happened prior to the crash.
He was flown to the Halifax Medical Center to be treated for "incapacitating injuries."
According to the FHP report, Anthony was wearing his seat belt and the Toyota's airbag did not deploy.
Anthony is the father of Casey Anthony — who was tried and acquitted in the 2008 murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.
