TAMPA, Fla. — As we continue to talk about Back to School, ABC Action News spoke to a Tampa Bay area psychologist who gives some helpful advice on bullies.

Dr. David Clarke says it is only a matter of time before your child runs into a bully and now is the best to prepare them now.

"The art of snappy, verbal comebacks, I think, can be very helpful with bullies," says Dr. Clarke. "They don't want a challenge and they'll move on to the next kid."

Dr. Clarke also says role playing with your child can be helpful. Pretend to be the bully and hear their reactions.
