The Television Home Design Series that Launched a TV Genre is Back: Trading Spaces! And So are the Original, Beloved Hosts!
Trading Spaces is the home improvement series that launched an entire genre. The fan favorite returns to America’s living rooms this spring. The ninth season premiere will kick off with a one-hour reunion special on April 7th, reuniting the cast for the first time since the show went off the air in 2008. There will be special guest appearances and surprises, in addition to a look back at some of the greatest moments from the series and a lively discussion on the impact the show had both on them as a cast and the television home renovation arena. Part two of Trading Spaces Reunion will air on April 14th at 8:00PM
Since Paige Davis’ time at TLC, she has co-hosted Home and Family for the Hallmark Channel and was the Emmy® nominated host of OWN’s Home Made Simple. She has spent much of her time focused on her true love, theatre and dance. Most recently, Paige gave a triumphant return to her role as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. Paige has performed numerous leading roles in theaters across the country, and has even toured as a dancer with The Beach Boys.
Ty Pennington first won national attention as the quirky and creative carpenter on Trading Spaces. Later, Pennington helped transform the lives of thousands, while inspiring millions more around the world to volunteer their time to help others, as host of the Emmy® winning series Extreme Home Makeover. Pennington hosts American Diner Revival on the Food Network, and works with chef Emeril Lagasse on TBS’ On The Menu. Pennington has penned several books and is recognized for his design expertise and style, launching a number of furnishing and home improvement brands.
