Best of Tampa Bay, presented by Raymond James, is a popular event surrounded by the beauty of the Straz Center and the adjacent Tampa Riverwalk.
Best of Tampa Bay will tantalize taste buds with various entrée samplings, luscious desserts, beer and premium drinks. More than 45 of the Tampa Bay area’s best restaurants, caterers and vendors will participate in this year’s event including The Birch and Vine, Saddlebrook Resort, Timpano Italian Chophouse and the Straz Center’s own Maestro’s Restaurant as well as a number of microbreweries including Big Storm Brewing Co., Rock Brothers Brewing and Ulele.
As always, music will play an important role at the event and the air that evening will be filled with an array of live, local, eclectic entertainment including Kayla Ember, James Trevor Pannofino, Shawn Scheller Band and Trae Pierce and the T-Stone Band.
Since its inception, Best of Tampa Bay – one of the Straz Center’s signature fundraising events and Tampa’s longest running culinary fundraiser – has generated more than $2.5 million to benefit the Straz Center’s programs. Hosted by The Producers Volunteer group, Best of Tampa Bay began as a fundraising project two years prior to the opening of the performing arts center. Because of events like Best of Tampa Bay, everyone in our community has the chance to discover the lifechanging impact of the performing arts.
Best of Tampa Bay is on Saturday, April 21, at 7 p.m. General admission tickets start at $85 per person and include open bar, food tastings and entertainment. VIP tickets start at $140 per person and come with early entry to the event, access to private lounges and more.
