Bhu Foods Voluntarily Recalls Protein Bars for Possible Health Risk

Bhu foods has issued a recall on select protein bars thanks to possible Listeria concerns.

This announcement applies only to the following list of Bhu Foods Protein bars outlined below and does not include any other items or the same item outside of the following lot codes (The lot code is printed on each individual bar wrapper next to the expiration date):

The organic sunflower seeds sold to the company have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, but no confirmed illnesses have been reported so far.

As soon as our team was notified, we immediately set our recall plan into action to ensure the safety and health of our customers. Bhu Foods will continue to operate with the highest standard of excellence providing customers with exemplary, wholesome organic products.” said Laura Katleman, President of Bhu Foods.

Affected product may be returned to the place of purchase for an exchange. Consumers with questions may contact Bhu Foods Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm (PST) at 619-855-3992.
