PASCO COUNTY, Fla- — Firefighters say a truck crashed into the fire station in Land O Lakes causing a gas leak.
An F-250 crashed into a high pressure gas main before hitting the front bays of the station. Due to the gas leak SR-54 was completely shut down between Ballantrae Blvd and Sunlake Blvd for a little over an hour.
According to police, the 55-year-old woman driving had a medical emergency and lost control.

TECO gas repaired the gas leak. The road was reopened shortly after.
The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
