TAMPA BAY, Fla. - If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend (October 19-21), there's plenty of action happening around the Tampa Bay area.

Friday, October 19

Hillsborough County Fair

When: Oct. 18-21 & 25-28
Where: Hillsborough County Fair at 215 Sydney Washer Road, Dover
Cost: $7 admission | $5 children admission
Info: The 2018 Greater Hillsborough County Fair opens Thursday, October 18 for two weekends of fun and entertainment. Livestock shows, carnival rides and fair food are staples at this annual event. This year's grandstand will showcase a rodeo, truck and tractor pull, horse show, and a demolition derby. The Hillsborough County Fair also features sheep, cows, goats, and chickens, as well as a milking contest, a swine show, and grooming events, among other animal shows and displays.

Clearwater Jazz Holiday

When: Oct. 18-21
Where: Coachman Park at 301 Drew St, Clearwater

Info: The Clearwater Jazz Holiday is a four-day and four-night, world-class, live, music festival, enjoyed by over 35,000 people the third week of every October. The festival features a combination of legendary and relevant musical artists and a gathering of an amazingly diverse fan base. Over its 38-year history, a long and impressive list of legendary jazz talents have made stops in Clearwater. The Clearwater Jazz Holiday will be headlined by George Thorogood, The Destroyers, Morris Day, The Time, The Doobie Brothers, JJ Grey and many more. 

Scream-A-Geddon

A Nightmare on Elm Street Marathon

When: 10 a.m. - 12 a.m. 
Where: Tampa Theatre at 711 N Franklin Street, Tampa

Info: The Tampa Theatre will be playing all six horror movies from the 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' series! The films will be playing throughout the day starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning.  

Sarasota Reggae & Rumfest

When: 12 p.m. - 10 p.m. 
Where: Sarasota County Fairgrounds at 
Cost: $20 Admission
Info: Celebrate International Rum Day in Sarasota this weekend! The Sarasota Reggae and Rumfest kicks off at the Sarasota County Fairgrounds on Saturday. Rum brands from around the world will showcase their exotic and delicious drinks throughout the day. Enjoy plenty of live reggae music and delicious food! 

Tampa Pig Jig on the River

When: 1 p.m. - 10 p.m. 
Where: Curtis Hixon Park at 600 North Ashley Drive, Tampa

Info: The Tampa Pig Jig is an annual fundraiser event hosted on downtown Tampa’s beautiful waterfront featuring great food, a BBQ competition, drinks and games! Live music will be headlined by Chris Young. 

USF Football vs. UConn

Bob Dylan & His Band

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Cleveland Browns
