Friday, August 17

St. Pete Wing & Craft Beer Fest

When: 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. 
Where: England Brothers Park at 5010 81st Avenue North, Pinellas Park 
Cost: Free Admission
Info: The St. Pete Wing & Craft Beer Fest will feature gourmet food trucks cooking up chicken wing-inspired dishes as well as their normal cuisine. With plenty of craft beer on tap and live music, it’s definitely a great way to kick off the weekend.  

Lindsey Stirling + Evanescence

When: 7 p.m. 
Where: Florida State Fairgrounds at 4802 US Highway 301 North, Tampa 
Cost: $25
Info: The rock band Evanescence is teaming up with Lindsey Stirling at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Ampitheatre this weekend! Tickets start at $25. 

2018 Bolts Brew Fest

When: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Where: Amalie Arena at 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa

Info: Hockey and beer? That’s a no-brainer! That's why your favorite hockey team, the Tampa Bay Lightning, is bringing back THE craft beer drinking event of the summer, Bolts Brew Fest. Step foot into Amalie Arena to be greeted by a sea of breweries located throughout the arena concourse and event floor as you sample your way around more than 100 craft beer varieties from more than 50 local and national brands! Plus, test your skills at exclusive and oversized games, interact with Lightning personalities, and much, much more.

Yoga on the Diamond

When: 9 a.m.
Where: George M. Steinbrenner Field at 1 Steinbrenner Drive, Tampa

Info: It's your turn to take the field! George M. Steinbrenner Field will be hosting a free 1-hour Yoga on the Diamond session this Saturday. The class will be all-level friendly and, with over 88,000 feet of grass, they encourage you to bring all of your yoga buddies and give it a try! Parking is provided in the main parking lot. They do ask you to bring at least one school supply to be donated back to the Tampa Bay community.

Backlight Run

When: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Florida State Fairgrounds at 4802 US Highway 301 North, Tampa  
Cost: $20-$50
Info: Blacklight Run is a unique night 5K fun run focused less on speed and more on UV neon glowing fun with friends and family. Participants come from all different ages, shapes, sizes, and speeds. Whether you are an avid runner or a walk around the park walker, the 3 miles of the Blacklight Run course will have you glowing and waiting for the next one. Make sure to wear a white shirt!

Journey & Def Leppard Tour

When: 7 p.m.
Where: Amalie Arena at 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa

Info: Two of the world’s greatest rock bands - Journey and Def Leppard - are teaming up for a massive show in downtown Tampa! The North American tour is making a stop Saturday night at Amalie Arena. Show begins at 7 p.m.

Tampa Bay Philly Phood Phest

Where: Carrollwood Cultural Center at 13345 Casey Road, Tampa

Info: Get ready for the Tampa Bay Philly Phood Phest! Dozens of food trucks will be out in full force Sunday serving up their take on food from the Philadelphia area. Parking and admission are free. 

Blazing Saddles at Tampa Theatre

Where: Tampa Theatre at 711 North Franklin, Tampa
