Friday, November 8

Dane Cook: Tell It Like It Is
When: 7:30 p.m.
Where: The Mahaffey Theater at 400 1st St S, St. Petersburg

Info: Stand-up comedian and actor Dane Cook is known for his dark humor and high-energy stage presence. Cook hits the road again with his 2019 Tell It Like It Is comedy tour. If you're looking to grab a bite before the show, there will be a pre-performance dinner at 6 p.m. for $26.50 plus tax.

Tampa Greek Festival
When: November 8-10
Where: St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church at 2418 W. Swann Ave, Tampa

32nd Annual Sponge Docks Seafood Festival

Continuous live music is offered all weekend long, featuring local and regional musicians. Saturday, November 9

Cupcake Festival
When: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: Ybor City Saturday Market at 1800 E 8th Ave, Tampa

Info: Local cupcake bakers will go head-to-head at the 9th Ybor City Saturday Market Cupcake Festival. Visitors to the Cupcake Festival will be able to purchase creations from participating contestants as well as enjoy the regular entertainment and shopping at the Ybor City Saturday Market.

23rd Annual Veterans Boat Parade
When: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: 600 American Legion Dr, Madeira Beach
Cost: FREE
Info: This is the ONLY Veterans Boat Parade in the country. You DO NOT want to miss it. Viewing areas include: American Legion Post 273, ROC PARK, ELKS Lodge Madeira Beach, Johns Pass Boardwalk.

Tampa Bay Veg Fest 2019
When: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Where: Perry Harvey Sr. Park at 1000 East Harrison Street, Tampa

Info: The 10th Annual Tampa Bay Veg Fest is bigger and better with some new fun stuff planned. There will be a great line-up of speakers and food demos that you all love so much. Bad A** Beerfest

The Great Gatsby Party

Info: Get ready for the glitziest party of the year! Every other year Fletcher Lounge at The University of Tampa will be transformed into a 1920s speakeasy for The Great Gatsby Party. 31st Annual St. Armands Circle Art Festival
