TAMPA, Fla. — Empamamas is still open for take-out and delivery in Tampa. With Armature Works closed, the empanada hot spot is operating out of King of the Coop in Seminole Heights.

The Tampa Bay community has rallied to support one another, and the friendship between Stephanie Swanz of Empamamas and Joe Dodd of King of the Coop is a testament to that.

"He called and said, ‘hey I have two kitchens, I’m not using one of them right now and it’s all yours if you need it.’" Swanz said on Empamamas' Instagram. " Joe completely opened his ‘home’ to us and I cannot even fathom how thankful I am for that."

Empamamas is home to the "Tampa Girl"—a cuban sandwich-stuffed empanada. Also on the to-go menu are the "Cheeseburger in Paradise" (where cheeseburger meets empanada) and the Bang Bang Chicken Tenders with seasoned fries.
