One of the firsts steps in planning your special day is picking a venue. Thankfully for us, Tampa Bay has a beautiful selection of wedding locations to choose from!

Narrowing down to our top 9 was a difficult task, so we got some help from Tampa Bay wedding expert Anna Coats, owner and editor of Marry Me Tampa Bay.

Get married on a private beachfront location at Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa. Choose from four reception locations: Sandpiper Deck, Flamingo Deck, Water’s Edge Ballroom or Grand Ballroom.

According to Coats, the decks have undergone a renovation for an even fresher feel.

Prices vary from low season (July – September) to high season is (October – June). All food and beverage must be provided by the hotel.

Hotel will provide on-premise parking for one vehicle per guest room, plus a complimentary one-night stay for the newlyweds.

All package options include consultation with wedding coordinator, one-hour ceremony rehearsal, disc jockey, seated or buffet wedding menu, coffee and iced tea, champagne toast, cake cutting and service, table cloths and napkins, ceremony music, service charge and marine fees.

According to Marry Me Tampa Bay, you can receive a reduced food and beverage minimum and special menu offerings if you get married at The Don CeSar in January, July, August or September.

Isla Del Sol’s wedding packages include country club catered food and beverage, passed hors d’oeuvres, linens, china, glassware, flatware, champagne toast, vendor referral assistance and help from an experienced event specialist.

This 100-year-old historic venue is located in Downtown St. Pete.

There are four gorgeous spaces for you to use: Upstairs, Downstairs, Courtyard and private suites to get ready. Only one event is hosted at a time, so you don’t have to worry about sharing the venue space.

Outside caterers are welcome, and wedding rehearsals are included with venue rental.

The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club

The Vinoy in Downtown St. Pete has 60, 505 square feet of total event space to utilize, located right on the water overlooking the marina.

Your ceremony can take place in the Tea Garden, which provides a tranquil outdoor setting, or at the Esplanade, which has spectacular views of the bay. Choose from indoor and outdoor reception venues depending on the size of your wedding.

Trained wedding planners will help you coordinate your big day. Take advantage of their wedding cake services or choose your own cake vendor (however a cake-cutting fee will apply). You can take a look at their wedding package options here.

Armature Works is not only a popular hangout spot in the Tampa Heights neighborhood, but also an excellent choice for a wedding venue.

Have your reception in The Gathering (includes two 9′ × 16′ LED video walls plus The Courtyard can be used for additional outdoor space) or the Theatre (a more intimate space that historically was a bar and stage-equipped performance space used by the Tampa Electric Company (TECO) street car workers to wind down after a long day of work).

Exposed brick and hard wood floors paired with stunning views of the Hillsborough River and Downtown Tampa’s skyline add to the ambiance.

Armature Works also offers intimate wedding package options for up to 50 guests.

The Vault

Address: 611 N Franklin St, Tampa

Capacity: up to 300 for cocktail receptions | up to 200 for seated dinners

This historical, neo-classical building located in Downtown Tampa’s Arts District was constructed in 1919 as the Exchange National Bank, and still has the historic walk-in vault as a part of its 6,000 square foot interior rental space.

According to Coats, some couples use the vault for their photo booth or cake display.

Floor to ceiling window walls offer stunning views of the Tampa Bay skyline, and guests can utilize the second-floor mezzanine to overlook the open gallery below.

There is also a charming private park to accommodate your cocktail party before or after your main event.

The Vault boasts spectacular wedding menus and customer service with extra attention to detail. If you decide to have your wedding at home or another location, their profession events team is available for hire to make your special day phenomenal.
