ST. PETE BEACH, Fla. — Baseball fever is starting to kick in as the season is underway. TradeWinds Island Resorts will be hosting watch parties once a month on St. Pete Beach for the Tampa Bay Rays away games.

Fans are invited to cheer on the Rays at RumFish Beach Resort by TradeWinds. Sit back and relax on the beach while the game plays on the big screen. There will be plenty of family-friendly fun, including a WipeOut Surf Simulator and giveaways from the Rays Street Team.

Beverage and cookout-style food will be available for purchase. Guests are asked to refrain from bringing coolers, but beach chairs, umbrellas and towels are encouraged.

The resort even offers post-game entertainment. Enjoy live music, sunset drink specials and s’mores.

The watch parties will be on Sundays and kick-off on April 28 at 1:05 p.m., when the Rays take on the Boston Red Sox. The remaining watch parties will take place on the dates below.

- May 19 at 1:05 p.m. (vs. New York Yankees)
- June 9 at 1:05 p.m. (vs. Boston Red Sox)
- July 14 at 1:05 p.m. (vs. Baltimore Orioles)
- August 25 at 1:05 p.m. (vs. Baltimore Orioles)
- September 29 at 3:07 p.m. (vs. Toronto Blue Jays)


The event is free to attend, and parking will be available for $10 at RumFish Beach Resort and Island Grand starting at noon.
