SAFETY HARBOR, Fla.—Known as the “Bowling Ball House” of Safety Harbor, WhimzeyLand offers a colorful oasis with its uniquely furnished exterior. It belongs to Todd and Kiaralinda, who have been working on the house for over 20 years.
Take a stroll through the yard and find hundreds of painted bowling balls, plexiglass, vibrant artwork, Mardi Gras beads and masks, bottle trees and recycled material sculptures that make for a fun photo op.
Parked out front, visitors can also get a peek at the Y2K Bug—a digital-inspired art car made from CDs, chipboards, and keyboard pieces. Across the street, the guest house Casa Loco is another decked-out sight to behold. The Mexican-themed home is decorated with beautiful mosaic tiles, a wire archway, crescent moon sculpture and more.
WhimzeyLand is free to check out and always open to the public, located at 1206 3rd Street N in Safety Harbor. Stay up to date on future events by following WhimzeyLand on Facebook.
