TAMPA, Fla. — A Tampa dessert shop is now offering what they call the 'World's Spiciest Ice Cream Challenge.'
Snobachi in Ybor City is serving up the Reaper Roll and it's so spicy, you literally have to sign a waiver before you eat it.
The ice cream is mixed with the world's hottest Carolina Reaper pepper and the world's spiciest hot sauce, which makes the dessert about 2,400 times spicier than Tabasco sauce.
Scoville Rating:
- Mad Dog 357 Plutonium No. 9 Pepper Extract: 9,000,000 SHU
- Carolina Reaper Pepper: 2,200,000 SHU
It's only $5 to take on the challenge and if you successfully eat the entire bowl of ice cream within 15 minutes, you'll get your money back and free ice cream for the rest of 2019.
A cup of milk is provided but you may need to bring extra drinks or food to help with the challenge. You must be 18 years or older to participate.
