TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning have designated their final game of the 2017-18 regular season as Fan Appreciation Night!
The game on Friday, April 6 against the Buffalo Sabres is designed to recognize and thank fans for their dedication and loyalty in helping the organization celebrate their 25th anniversary season. Each fan in attendance will receive a rally towel courtesy of AMALIE Motor Oil.
The Lightning will unveil the fans’ favorite Top-25 players on Fan Appreciation Night and the players selected will be honored with a pre-game ceremony.
Bolts fans had the chance to vote on their all-time favorite Lightning players from the past 25 seasons. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for festivities on Ford Thunder Alley prior to the game which will be highlighted by a blue carpet walk involving former players selected as the Top 25 Bolts. The blue carpet walk will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Once inside Amalie Arena, fans will have the opportunity to get free peanuts and popcorn, while supplies last, prior to puck-drop. Fans can also get specials on hot dogs, canned soda, bottled water and chicken tenders until puck drop. Southwest Airlines will be giving away a free round-trip airfare during the game. Additionally, Mercury Insurance will be giving away 3,000 Tyler Johnson bobbleheads.
Also, fans in attendance will have the chance to win an opportunity to receive a jersey on the ice immediately following the game from a Lightning player by texting Thunder to 61873. Lightning players will take their jerseys right off their backs after the game and present them to 20 lucky winners. The Lightning will also have contests on Instagram for opportunities for fans to win other prizes throughout the night.
As another thank you to fans, the Lightning will be giving away more than $5,000 worth of prizes during the night. Prizes include electronics, upcoming Amalie Arena and USF Sun Dome concert tickets, Lightning signed merchandise and much more.
