TAMPA BAY, Fla. - Feel the luck of the Irish this St. Patrick’s Day weekend with plenty of shamrock parties around Tampa Bay! 

Friday, March 16

PaddyFest 2018

When: March 16-18
Where: Irish 31 Bars | Hyde Park, Westchase, Westshore, Wiregrass and Fergs Live 
Cost: Free
Info: One of the biggest and best St. Patrick’s Day parties in the Bay will return to Hyde Park Village for 2018 with a massive Paddyfest Street Festival down Rome Avenue! But that’s not all! There will also be a Shake Your Shamrock 5K, Irish Dancers from the Scarriff School of Dance, and national artists Love and Theft headlining from the Guinness Main Stage! If you think that’s awesome, on St. Paddy’s Day, there’s a Blarney Bike Ride, wing-eating contest, flip cup tournament and plenty of live music.

St. Pete Seafood & Sweets Festival

When: 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. 
Where: Albert Whitted Park at 480 Bayshore Drive SE, St. Petersburg

Info: Seafood, sweets, and good times! What could be better?! Join the Gulf to Bay Food Truck Association for food, fun, and live entertainment during St. Pete's second annual Seafood and Sweets Festival! Gourmet food trucks will be lined up with special seafood inspired dishes, desserts, and their normal cuisine. This food truck rally goes from 6 pm – 11 pm and is located at Albert Whitted Park across from the Dali Museum and Mahaffey Theatre.

St. Patrick's Day 5K, 10K in Dunedin

When: 8 a.m. 
Where: 520 Douglas Avenue, Dunedin

Info: Wear plenty of green for the 15th Annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K and 10K beer runs in downtown Dunedin! Take on the  5K, 10K or if you are up for it, the Leprechaun Challenge (do all 3 distances) at one of the best St. Patrick’s Day races in Florida. Enjoy the beautiful and completely paved course and bring friends and family with you as this is a family-friendly event.

The Leprechaun's Run

When: 8 a.m. 
Where: Al Lopez Park at 4810 North Himes Avenue, Tampa

Info: Bring the entire family and celebrate St. Patrick's day with runs, games, and a free concert by Tampa's very own Josh Carroll and The Fix! Register to run either a 5k (you can also walk this!) or sign your kids up for a 500 meter dash at Al Lopez Park. The kids run will be conducted on the grass near the event stage. Ages 4-10 only, please! The entire family can enjoy this event that includes family live music, kids run, and children games.

St. Patrick's Day Block Party 2018

When: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
Where: Courigans Irish Pub at 1 Beach Drive Southeast, St. Petersburg

Info: For those of you who don't know, Courigan's Annual Block Party is the place to be for St. Patrick's Day! They have multiple portable full liquor bars, a draft truck, an outside grill, and live bands all on the street! As well as festive pub grub inside. Slainte! 

St. Patrick's Day at GameTime

When: 10 a.m. - 2 a.m. 
Where: GameTime at 1600 East 8th Avenue, Tampa

Info: Join in on the St. Patrick’s Day fun with a celebration giving away free festive bead necklaces with any drink purchase, $4.99 Guinness pints and special mouth-watering Reuben Potato Skins and Reuben Burger. Then take your pints to the mega arcade where you can enjoy a friendly competition amongst mates on a variety of interactive games. The perfect spot to get your St. Paddy’s Day game on!

2018 Mayor's River O'Green Fest

When: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Info: The Hillsborough River will once again be dyed green for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration! The Mayor’s River O’Green Fest features an Irish-themed party at Curtis Hixon Park in Downtown Tampa. There will be plenty of live entertainment, games, kids activities, food trucks, and of course, beer. Morning festivities will begin with the River O’Green Gallop, family scavenger hunt, Leprechaun costume contest, as well as the Shamrock Scavenger Crawl for adults. 

 

St. Patty’s Day Celebration at MacDintons

When: 11 a.m. - 3 a.m. 
Where: MacDintons at 405 South Howard Avenue, Tampa
Cost: Free
Info: Everyone knows that MacDinton's is the place to be seen in your green! Come out and celebrate on St. Patrick's Day and enjoy live entertainment including traditional Irish Bagpipers! There will be delicious Irish food including Corned Beef Hash. At night, you can enjoy drink specials, live DJ and plenty of dancing. 

St. Patrick’s Pup Pawty

When: 12 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Where: St. Pete Dog Bar at 2300 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg

Info: Come kiss the Blarney dog! The Dog Bar in St. Pete has green beer, drink specials, Jell-O shots, and shenanigans all day long! Come out and play with us! Don’t forget to bring your pooch! 

 

Sunday, March 18

St Paddy's Sunday Hangover Brunch & Pool Chill Out

When: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Where: District Tavern Tampa at 116 North 12th Street, Tampa

Info: Cure that St. Patrick’s Day hangover with a hearty all-you-can-eat brunch with bottomless Bloody Marys & Mimosas at District Tavern Tampa until 2 p.m. Then board the party bus to Aloft Tampa Downtown Hotel and chill poolside at the WXYZ Lounge at Aloft where another complimentary welcome shot awaits you. This relaxed Sunday Funday event starts at 12 p.m. and includes a complimentary welcome shot at District Tavern and Aloft. The Crawler Party Bus will be available at 1:30 p.m. to shuttle you over to the Aloft Hotel for the afternoon.
