St. Paddy's Day cocktails you can make at home

St. Paddy's Day may not be a wild night out for most of us this year, but that doesn't mean we can't celebrate from home! Check out these 7 Irish-themed drinks.

Irish Kiss Shot

  • 1 part peppermint schnapps
  • 1 part Baileys Irish Cream
  • Guinness floater

Pour equal parts peppermint schnapps and Baileys in a shaker with ice. Shake it up and pour into a shot glass, top with a Guinness floater.

Irish Green Apple Sangria

  • 750 ml riesling or moscato
  • 1/2 cup Irish whiskey
  • 1/4 cup Green Apple Pucker
  • 6 tbs frozen lemonade
  • 2 tbs simple syrup
  • 1 green apple

Pour all liquid ingredients into a pitcher and stir. Cut apple into thin slices and place in sangria. Chill and serve over ice.

Guinness and Baileys Ice Cream Float

  • 4 scoops mint or vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1/2 cup Guinness

Scoop ice cream into a cup, pour the Baileys on top, then the Guinness. Top with whipped cream and green sprinkles if desired.

Shamrock Sour Cocktail (from Pizzazzerie)

  • 2 tbs lime juice
  • 1/2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 2 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1 tiny drop of green food coloring
  • lime wedges for garnish

Combine ingredients and shake well; strain over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and a shamrock stirrer.

Lucky Leprechaun Shots (from Shake Drink Repeat)

  • 2 tbs corn syrup
  • gold sprinkles
  • 4 oz whiskey
  • 4 oz apple schnapps

Dip rims of four shot glass in corn syrup and then dip them in gold sprinkles. Pour one ounce of whiskey in each of the four shot glasses. Top off with the apple schnapps.

The Lucky Irish Girl Cocktail (from Fitnessista)

  • 1 oz Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1/2 oz Kahlua
  • 1/2 oz Frangelico
  • 2 oz milk of choice (heavy cream, coconut or almond milk)
  • Spinach or green food coloring (optional)

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with a little ice. Shake it up, strain, pour, and bottoms up.

Irish Buck (from Kleinworth & Co.)

  • 1-1/2 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz ginger ale

Fill Collins glass with ice or small whiskey balls, add in ingredients and slightly stir. Optional garnish with lime.
