ZooTampa at Lowry Park has opened its brand-new family water adventure, Roaring Springs.
The water ride allows guests of all ages to discover a hidden part of Florida full of unexpected adventure and thrills.
Explorers will board a boat and gently drift along a crystal-clear spring and then suddenly feel a rush of adrenaline as they experience a 3-story splashdown.
Situated within the first phase of the Florida realm expansion, the Roaring Springs area combines old Florida charm with a nod to the original Florida way of life.

Along with the water adventure, the brand-new Joe’s Diner will serve classic Florida favorites with a twist, as well as ice cold refreshments and cocktails. Shoppers will also have their pick of Florida inspired souvenirs and local novelties at the Country Store.
After a recent rebranding, ZooTampa will open its most thrilling expansion to date on Saturday, June 9.
