PLANT CITY, Fla.—The Christmas Trail is a free outdoor holiday attraction that features something fun for the whole family. This is its fifth season in Plant City.

The “Tales of Christmas” walking light trail is ¼ mile long and features beautiful scenes and vibrant colors. People can walk through at their leisure and it takes about 10 minutes to complete.

In addition to the lights, guests can visit with Santa for a photo-op, enjoy free face painting, check out the vendors and concessions and watch the Jack Frost Ice Show! There is also the Snowball Corral where you can take part in a “snowball” fight, Florida style.

And don’t forget to buy a cup of hot chocolate and watch your favorite Christmas movies on the big screen or stand around the 25-foot Christmas Tree to see the carolers and light show.

For $3 per person, guests can check out the Light Up Christmas Escape Game, new to The Christmas Trail this year. Try to finish the checklist and escape off to bed before Santa arrives in three minutes. There is also a laser tag combat zone, where guests can battle for winter for $5 per person.

The Christmas Trail is located at 2837 S Frontage Road in Plant City. It's open Friday-Sunday from December 6-22 and on December 23 from 5:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. Admission is free and parking costs $5.
