No Vacancy in St. Pete offers tiki cocktails and old school Florida vibes

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.—In the heart of the EDGE District in Downtown St. Pete sits a bar that is a throwback to old school Florida.

No Vacancy offers guests the chance to "check in" to a 1960s Florida motel-inspired vacation, complete with neon signs, palm trees and plenty of plastic flamingos. Choose from an assortment of colorful lawn chairs on the outdoor patio and enjoy a delicious cocktail.

The bar offers classics like Mai Tais and mojitos but you can also get creatively named cocktails like Peach, Don't Kill My Vibe (made with with vodka, lavender, peach and lemon) or Tropic Like It's Hot (made with tequila, lime, cucumber, jalapenos and hellfire bitters). Upgrade any cocktail to a fish bowl (serves two people) or a hollowed pineapple for an extra charge.

No Vacancy also has tasty bar bites, including wings, Cubanos, Under The Sea Nachos and—because no Florida-themed bar would be complete without them—alligator bites.

You can find the cocktail menu and food menu online.

In addition to food and drinks, guests can have fun watching Kung Fu movies play behind the bar or taking a crack at lawn games like giant Connect Four.

No Vacancy is located at 937 Central Avenue and is open Wednesday-Sunday, with a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. If you work in the service industry, make sure to stop by on Gold Pants Wednesdays for a 50% discount and to check out the staff's shiny slacks.
