**UPDATE: All spots are now filled for the race

If you've ever dreamed of running across the Skyway Bridge, now's your chance!

For one day in March the famous bridge will be shut down for the inaugural Skyway 10k.

The run will benefit the Armed Forces Families Foundation.

7,000 people can register, and as of Thursday afternoon registration was about 33% full. Organizers say they are averaging about 2 people a minute registering.

People as far away as Canada, Hawaii and Washington state have already registered.

The cost for registration is $75 and includes a medal at the end of the race.

Three waves of buses will drop people off at the base of the bridge on the Manatee County side, then run over to the Pinellas side.

If you can get on the earliest bus, you'll likely make it to the top of the bridge in time for sunrise.

The race is still looking for sponsors.
