PLANT CITY, Fla.—Enjoy wine, food, livestock and more at Keel Farms in Plant City.
Home to Keel and Curley Winery and Two Henry’s Brewing Company, this family-owned farm offers tours of the facility, u-pick days for you to hand pick your own farm-fresh produce and a tasting room where you can try all of their wine, cider, and beer products. Keel and Curley is well known for its blueberry and Florida fruit wine.
“Everything we do is from Florida, it’s from the farm—as much from our farm as we can,” said Keel Farms president Clay Keel. “When you drink a glass of our wine, that was made here probably in the last 2-3 months with fruit that is also from here.”
Tours of the 35-acre farm take place every weekend and cost $5. Grab a glass of wine or beer beforehand to check out blueberry plants as far as the eye can see and make a pit stop to feed the cows, sheep and other animals that live on the farm.
Then learn about the wine making and bottling process before you head back to the tasting room, where you can enjoy Keel Farms’ restaurant with fresh farm-to-table ingredients.
The tasting room is open daily, and you can check out Keel Farm’s event page for live music, festivals and other activities. For more information about Keel Farms, click here.
