ORLANDO, FL — Whether you're looking for family-friendly fun or terrifying frights, The Haunted Road in Orlando is the best of both worlds. This drive-thru Halloween experience is a contactless theatrical event.
"The Haunted Road is Central Florida's first drive-thru Halloween experience," said Jessica Mariko, executive producer of the nighttime show at The Haunted Road. "When Covid happened...we didn't want to stop creating...that's when we started thinking about things that we could do, maybe, while people were inside a car."
During the day, travel through The Enchanted Forest as Prince Dolt introduces you to some of your favorite fairy tale characters. Interact with the cast, trick-or-treat and watch the magical story unfold from the comfort of your car. The show lasts 30 minutes and runs every Saturday and Sunday during the day in October.
After dark, drive from scene to terrifying scene to see the story of Rapunzel as she journeys through a world of disarray. Characters will get up close and personal with your vehicle for some frightening jump scares. For safety reasons, guests will only be scared while there car is parked at each scene. Tickets are still available for the nights of October 23-24 and 28-31.
If you're looking for some more frights and scares, check out The Haunted Road: “Unrestricted", an intensely petrifying event held on November 5-7 for people 18 or older.
The Haunted Road takes place at 15239 Lake Pickett Road in East Orlando. To learn more about the event, click here.
