PLANT CITY, Fla. — Travel into the woods of Plant City to experience some frighting characters. Sir Henry's Haunted Trail is an experience like no other.

"We have 3 different trails, all three different themes, and the themes change each year," said owner of Sir Henry's Haunted Trail, Zach Glaros.

The 2020 trails are:

All three trails are around the same level of scary, but the Midnight Slaughter Trail is a lights-out experience, meaning guests will mostly be walking in pitch black darkness through the frighting scenes.

"Our trails are longer than some of the traditional haunted houses maybe guest have experience," said Glaros. "That's one of the things we pride ourselves on...definitely it's going to take you at least about 8 to 12 minutes to go through each trail."

In addition to the trails, there are photo opportunities across the property, concessions and a t-shirt stand. Due to the pandemic, laser tag and the escape game will not be open this year.

Sir Henry's Haunted Trail runs October 2-3, 9-11, 16-18, 23-25, and 30-31. Tickets start at $25 and must be purchased online in advance. Cost includes one-time admission to each of the trails. This year, masks are required and time slots have been introduced to help spread out crowds and promote social distancing.

This family-run attraction is recommended for people 12 and older, and closed-toed shoes are advised.
