SARASOTA, Fla. — If you have ever wanted to become a sand sculpting master, now's your chance—the Sandventure Crew offers private sand sculpting lessons on beautiful Siesta Key Beach.
These hands-on lessons run about two hours and include all the basics of sand sculpting. Sandventure provides you with all the necessary tools, and by the end, you'll have a post card-worthy sand sculpture to admire!
Andy Daily and Brian Wigelsworth have been professional sand sculptors for 10 and 13 years respectively. The Sandenture business partners started offering lessons to educate people about the art of sand sculpting, all while providing a fun and memorable day on the beach.
"The art of sand sculpting...it grabs you," said Daily. "Once you do it, once you get involved in it, it's something that you're going to want to do every time you go to the beach."
Lessons start at $180 for six people ($30 each) on Siesta Key Beach, but lessons can be offered on other beaches and locations.
The Sandventure Crew is also available for weddings, engagements, and team building, whether it's an indoor (with the help of specialty tables) or outdoor event. "We do almost anything where we can use sand sculptures to attract attention and crowds," said Wigelsworth.
