TAMPA, Fla. — Cheesecake, champagne, charcuterie—oh my! Everything served at The C House in Tampa starts with the letter "C".
From the cupcakes and cookies in the bakery to the delicious craft cocktails from the bar, this restaurant has truly embraced its theme.
"It was just something that I felt could be a little bit cheeky, but also still not take away from us delivering a really high-end product," said owner and founder Danna Haydar.
Haydar came up with the idea for The C House with her husband on their drive back from visiting family out of state. She wanted a to start a business that focused on cheesecake and champagne, and as the two started brainstorming the menu, they realized that the dishes they were most excited about (champagne, cheesecake, charcuterie, cookies and cupcakes) all happened to start with the letter "C". The C House opened its doors a couple years later in 2018.
The restaurant offers many options on its champagne and bubbles menu, as well as 6-9 different cheesecakes made in-house daily. The meat for the charcuterie boards is also prepared fresh in house.
Other consciously-curated dishes guests can try include Cauliflower Buffalo Bites, Crab Cakes, Cape Cod Pan-Seared Scallops, Cheeseburger and Cajun Mahi Tacos. The cocktails have creative names like Circumstantial Evidence (Old Fashioned) or Calm Before the Storm (Cucumber Gimlet) and are created with house-made simple syrups and fresh produce. Brunch is also available every Sunday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. All the menus can be found here.
The C House is located at 6005 N Florida Avenue in the Seminole Heights district of Tampa. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, with live music on the patio every day. To learn more about The C House, click here.
