Boo! Celebrate Halloween at these kid-friendly events around Tampa Bay

From trick-or-treating to costume contests, check out these local kid-friendly Halloween events on Tuesday, October 31. 

Halloween Spree at the Glazer Children's Museum

Enjoy spooky fun with a safe trick-or-treating alternative at Glazer Children's Museum. The night will be full of museum play, trick-or-treating in the exhibits, special programs, a costume parade, and more! The event begins at 4 p.m. and costs $15. 

Trick-or-Treat at University Mall

Scare away hunger and trick-or-treat for a good cause! Bring the family and non-perishable food items to University Mall on Tuesday to support the Mort Elementary Food Pantry. The collection bin will be located in center court. Trick-or-treating begins at 5 p.m. on Halloween.

2017 Halloween Trail of Treats

Grab the kids and head to Anna Maria Island for a safe Halloween night! The Trail of Treats starts at 3:30 p.m. at the AMI Chamber of Commerce with a kid costume contest for children 12 and under. Businesses in Holmes Beach, Anna Maria and Bradenton Beach will be handing out candy throughout the evening. Click here for more information. 

Boo Bash at Spectrum Field

All treats and no tricks at the ball field! Head to Spectrum Field in Clearwater for a free Halloween celebration featuring interactive areas for kids, including games, hayrides, a costume parade on the field, and plenty of candy for everyone. The spooky fun happens from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. 

Safety Harbor Main St. Trick-or-Treat

Put your best costume on and come to Safety Harbor's Main Street to Trick-or-Treat in a safe family atmosphere. City Hall, Fire Station 52 and Main Street businesses will be handing out treats. The free event takes place from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND

Come enjoy the last Halloween night celebration at LEGOLAND! Brick or Treat features trick-or-treating, LEGO building activities, exclusive meet and greets with LEGO Vampyre, LEGO Mummy and other spooky characters. 

Blow your own glass pumpkin

Learn how to blow your very own personal glass pumpkin at the Morean Glass Studio & Hot Shop in St. Pete! This unique one-on-one opportunity gives you the chance to learn the fundamentals of glass blowing. One of the Morean's demo team instructors will guide you through all the necessary steps to make your own blown glass pumpkin. It usually lasts around 30 minutes. You must wear closed toe shoes and cotton clothing, and remove any jewelry or watches from hands and arms before their experience. Click here for more information.
