ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — ABC Action News is bring you some hefty love for this week's Pet of the Week segment.
Pepper is a beautiful, easy going affectionate 6-year-old Bulldog who will make a great addition to a lucky family.
According to the American Kennel Club, bulldogs are loyal companions who are perfect city pets. They are friendly and courage dogs who are known for their "sourmug" face.
Shelter workers say Pepper will require a special home and family with bulldog experience. She must have a home with no stairs and no dogs that will play too rough.
A potential owner should expect Pepper to require ongoing vet care for typical bulldog issues. She is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
