ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — There are plenty of lovable animals in Tampa Bay area shelters still need to find homes during the pandemic.
As part of the ABC Action News Pet of the Week segment, we are spotlighting Meeko from Pet Pal Animal Shelter.
Meeko is an 18-month-old All-American boy who is surprisingly strong for a dog his size. Shelter workers say he is a happy-go-lucky 33-pound boy who loves to run and would do best in active family that will take him out on the town.
Meeko is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.

Pet Pal Animal Shelter is a no-kill shelter located near Tropicana Field.
The address is 405 22nd Street South Street in St. Petersburg. The shelter is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 to 4:30 p.m.
