ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Each week ABC Action News attempts to help find a home for dogs currently housed in a local animal shelter.
This week we bring you an amazing pup from Pet Pal Animal Shelter with name as cool as he is.
Burger is an 6-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix. He is 29 pounds of love and energy and goes great with fries.
Burger recently had a night out at Dog Bar in St. Pete where he showed he loves playing with dogs of all sizes.

According to the American Kennel Club, terriers are intelligent, good-natured dogs who are excellent guardians.
With the help of their “Guardian Angels,” all adopters of Pit Bulls from Pet Pal will go home with a crate, leash, collar, Kong toy and small bag of Science Diet. Also included is a free initial vet visit to Pet Pal Veterinary Clinic where a 1-month supply of heartworm and flea prevention will be provided.
A group training class will also be offered by a certified trainer to provide guidance in leadership skills for all family members.
Thanks to Burger's Pit Project Guardian Angel, David D., his adoption fee is only $75.
Burger is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. You must own your home to adopt him.
