LOUISVILLE, KY — A teacher went above and beyond to make sure one of his students — who suffers from Spina Bifida — was able to enoy a class field trip.

Ryan is 10 years old, and she has gone through 32 surgeries since birth.

She is in a wheelchair, but her family says she is still smiling and is as humble as ever. There is a Facebook page that was created to rally around her.

When her school went on a field trip to the Falls of Ohio, it was obvious it was going to be difficult for her. The Falls aren't exactly wheelchair accessible.

That's when a teacher stepped in and offered to carry her on his back so that she would get the same experience as the other kids. According to the Facebook post, he said, "I'm happy to tote her around on the falls all day!"

In the Facebook post, many commenters praised the teachers.

"Lots of respect for this such a humble teacher...we seriously needs this kind of teachers all around of us," one commenter said.

"As a special needs mom you are amazing sir. I am also a Tully parent. Shared to 6 different special needs sites to help this go viral," another parent wrote.
