With more and more states and cities — and even retailers, including Walmart — mandating face masks to protect against the novel coronavirus, now is the time to make sure you have some if you don’t already.
Walmart is currently selling a 5-pack of Hanes 100% cotton reusable masks in stores for just $7.50, or $1.50 each. A 10-pack of the same masks is $25 on Hanes’ website, or $2.50 each, so Walmart’s deal is a better bet.
While the masks are listed on Walmart’s website, the price is only good in stores and they cannot be ordered online. You can use Walmart’s website to see if they’re in stock at your local store before heading out.
The masks are one-size only, come in either black or white and are made of soft 3-ply 100% cotton. They also include an adjustable nosepiece for a better fit, and they are washable and reusable up to 20 washes.
If you’re looking for more color options beyond black and white, Old Navy has reusable masks for adults and children. Their masks come in a pack of five for either adults or kids, both for $12.50. While the masks are sold out right now, Old Navy’s website says they’re still making them and that more will be available soon.
Target is also selling reusable masks for both adults and children for just $2 each. You can get their masks in patterns including floral for adults and unicorns for kids.
If you’re looking for masks specifically for children, you can find some from a variety of sellers, including Etsy, Gap Kids, Cubcoats and even Disney.
If you’d rather have disposable masks, Office Depot has a box of 50 BYD Care 3-ply pleated disposable masks for $29.99, which is about 60 cents per mask.
Keep an eye on Office Depot’s website, though, because the masks were previously on sale for $14.99, or 30 cents each. There is a chance that Office Depot will offer another sale, so if you don’t need them right away, wait a little while to see if the masks end up being priced lower.
Will you be picking up some new face masks soon?
