Throwback Thursday: The original Nintendo NES is coming back

Posted

Is it possible for a gaming system to look cute? If it is, the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition) is adorable and it's all the talk online.

The new system, coming this Fall, will bring back many memories of playing the original 1985 console. It looks just like the original, only smaller and it fits in the palm of your hand.

Nintendo posted a picture of the new system on their Facebook page and it is exciting fans of all ages.

Nintendo says the NES Classic Edition will be released on November 11, 2016 for $59.99. It is designed to plug straight into your TV via HDMI cable. The system comes fully loaded with 30 games like Super Mario Bros. 1-3, The Legend of Zelda, Mega Man 2, Castlevania, Donkey Kong, Pac-man and more.

The best part, since the games are already loaded into the system, you won't have to worry about blowing into a game cartridge ever again.
