As a way to say thank you for all the lifesaving hard work being done of the front line of the coronavirus pandemic, Dunkin’ is offering some freebies for all healthcare workers on National Nurses Day.
Any healthcare worker who visits a participating Dunkin’ restaurant on May 6 will receive a free medium hot or iced coffee and a free doughnut. The best part? No purchase is necessary.
Of course, there are a few catches. The deal is good while supplies last and does not include cold brew or nitro cold brew. There is a limit of one coffee and doughnut per person and the offer is not valid on mobile orders.
The chain announced the giveaway in a press release this week, saying they are proud to offer a token of gratitude to America’s healthcare workers.
“Their selfless sacrifices inspire all of us to come together to do everything we can to support our communities,” said Dave Hoffmann, CEO of Dunkin’ Brands. “We want people on the front lines to know that we have their backs and they can count on Dunkin’ to help keep them running.”

More Free Doughnuts
By the way, if you don’t have a Dunkin’ near you, Krispy Kreme is also handing out free doughnuts to healthcare workers right now.
If you’re in the healthcare industry, you can get free dozens (yes, dozens) of glazed doughnuts at Krispy Kreme every Monday through May 11. All you have to do is show your badge at your local Krispy Kreme and ask for however many dozens you want, with a limit of five dozen per person.
If you head to Krispy Kreme over the next few weeks, you might also find one of three limited-edition cream-filled doughnuts: strawberry, Key lime and lemon glaze. Each fruity flavor will roll out Tuesday-Friday over the next three weeks, starting with strawberry. They’ll each be available for only four days, so you’ll want to hurry and get them while you can.
Where Else To Get Free Coffee
If coffee is all you need to start the day, Starbucks is offering free coffee to healthcare workers and first responders through the end of May. Any customer who identifies as a frontline responder to the COVID-19 outbreak will receive a tall brewed coffee, hot or iced, at no charge.
While most Starbucks drive-thrus have remained open, some stores are now also offering other options, like paying ahead and picking up your order at the door or ordering in-cafe and then taking your order to go.
If you know anyone who can benefit from these freebie deals, spread the word before they come to an end!
