Football season — just like everything else during the COVID-19 pandemic — is no doubt going to be different this fall.
Perhaps you normally go to games and will be staying home this year. Maybe you enjoy watching football at a bar that isn’t open right now, or with friends at a party that won’t be happening.
No matter how you’ll be watching this year, however, there is one thing that doesn’t have to change — the food! That’s thanks to restaurant deals for food that go particularly well with game-watching, like the one you can find at Subway right now. The sub shop chain is having a deal on sandwiches for a limited time.
Now through the end of the season, when you buy two footlongs, you’ll get one free. The free sub must be equal or lesser price than the other two and the deal is at participating restaurants only.
The deal cannot be ordered for delivery but can be ordered in-store, through the Subway App or online. If ordering online, you can also pay at the same time for contactless payment and quick pick-up.
The deal comes as Subway was named the Official Sandwich Sponsor of the National Football League. That means that along with the deal for the entire season, Subway will also debut new flavors inspired by game day staples, as well as special merchandise, contests and other exclusive offers in the coming months.
Their newest sandwich is the BBQ Rib, which features pork topped with sweet BBQ sauce, lettuce, onions and pickles.
If you’ll be taking advantage of the buy two, get one free deal, you’ll also need something to go along with your subs while watching your favorite team.
Nothing goes better with a sandwich than soup, including this copycat Panera broccoli cheese soup recipe or this chunky lentil and vegetable soup. You’ll also need dessert, like these homemade apple dumplings with cinnamon caramel sauce that look perfect for fall.
What is your favorite thing to eat while watching football?
