The kids get them on Fridays - packed with ramen noodles, crackers, apple sauce, part of seven snacks in each bag! They get one bag for Saturday and one for Sunday.
Volunteers at the church help Pastor Felice Procaccio buy and bag the food.
4,000 "bags of hope" were made in a year and a half!
It all started in the pastor's kitchen after a principal told him about the sad, hungry kids waiting for her every Monday morning at school - the children desperate for free breakfast after a weekend with little food.
