PTB’S first guest was Maruchi Azorin. The businesswoman making her living in linens at Villa Rosa Linens, was making life serving kids!
She had convinced the Museum of Science and Industry to bring Hispanic students, at risk of dropping out of high school, face to face with real-life Hispanic scientists.
Their stories of trials and triumphs captivated the middle and high schoolers who came --- more than 1,500 each time.
16 years later, Maruchi's idea had created game changing moments for more than 24,000 teens!
