UPDATE 10AM | FHP says the inside lane of I75 southbound at mile marker 184 is back open. Please keep two eyes on the road, two hands on the wheel and your mind on driving!
ORIGINAL STORY | One person is dead and I-75 SB is closed after 2 semi-trucks crashed in North Port.

One of the trucks was transporting ice cream and the other was transporting beer.
FHP is investigating the crash that happened at about 5:19 a.m. The SB lanes are closed and being diverted at mile marker 191 (River Rd.).
As of 10AM, the inside lane of I-75 Southbound was reopened.
There is damage to the outside lane, FHP is working to determine if the lane will need to remain closed for an extended period of time.
