TAMPA, Fla. — Lightning hockey is back.

It's been a painful offseason for fans as they've had months to relive a heartbreaking first round sweep in last year's Stanley Cup Playoffs at the hand of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

But it's a new season and the Bolts are ready to reclaim their spot at the top of the NHL.

The road to Lord Stanley's Cup begins Tuesday night with the first tuneup game of the year. The Lightning begin the preseason on home ice at AMALIE Arena when they take on the Carolina Hurricanes.
