- Hillsborough County Schools will reopen schools on Monday, September 18
- Sarasota County Schools will resume classes on Monday, September 18
- Citrus County Schools will reopen on Monday, September 18
- Pasco County Schools after reassessing the situation in shelters, Pasco County Schools revised tentative plan is to reopen schools on Monday, September 18.
- Pinellas County Schools will reopen on Monday, September 18
- Polk County Schools plan to reopen schools on Tuesday, September 19
- Hernando County Schools plan to reopen schools on Monday, September 18
- USF will resume to classes on Thursday, September 14
- Hillsborough Community College classes will resume Monday, Sept. 18
- St. Leo University will resume classes on Monday September 18
- Manatee County Schools plan to reopen on Monday, September 18
- DeSoto County Schools plan to reopen on Monday, September 18
- Highlands County Schools closed through Tuesday, September 19. No definitive return date released.
- Hardee County Schools are closed until further notice as only one school has power.

Pinellas County: Starting at 4 p.m. on Monday, September 11, deputies reopened all bridges for re-entry to the Pinellas County barrier islands.

The Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service announces that 46 state parks have reopened following Hurricane Irma. Due to weather conditions and to ensure visitor safety, 121 state parks remain closed.
