The group is an unarmed organization of volunteers who patrol neighborhoods facing crime or public safety issues.
"He's not going to terrorize this neighborhood. He's not going to have people bunkered down in their homes.," said William Cruz, Regional Director of the Florida Guardian Angels.
William Cruz says his organization had a recent meeting and voted to help the community by having a presence.
"If we see something out of the ordinary, we will contact the local enforcement and if we have to, if we see something happen, we will detain them," he said.

The Guardian Angels are wearing white t-shirts with red lettering and red jackets and berets.
They say they are working with local law enforcement and neighbors to make sure trick or treating is safe over the weekend.
"That's one of my concerns and we're going to be out here as well. If we have to go trick-or-treating with the kids, hey, we'll be out here trick-or-treating," said Cruz.
