A two-car crash early Tuesday morning injured a Tampa police officer and another driver.
The crash occurred just after 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of Dale Mabry Highway and Kennedy Boulevard.
Police report the officer was heading southbound on Dale Mabry when he collided with a car heading west on Kennedy.
The officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital by another officer.
Paramedics transported the other driver to a hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating the accident to determine if the officer or the other driver was at fault for causing the crash.
