Tampa detectives are investigating a murder that occurred Thursday night.
Around 7:00 p.m., officers responded to a call there was a man down at the Sunoco Gas Station on Nebraska Avenue just north of Interstate 4.
When officers arrived on scene they found an adult man who was unconscious and had injuries to his upper body.
Paramedics transported the man to Tampa General Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Homicide detectives are now conducting an investigation to determine a motive in the man's murder and identify any potential suspects.
Police have yet to release the victim's name pending notification of next of kin.
