TAMPA-Fire rescue officials in Tampa battled a shrimp boat fire that began on Sunday morning.

The call came in at 8:14 a.m. regarding the fire at 2601 Causeway Boulevard in Tampa, according to Jason Penny, spokesman for Tampa Fire Rescue.

There was no one on board during the fire, which appeared to decimate the shrimp boat. No one was injured during the fire, which was described as "heavy," according to TFR's Twitter account.

The blaze is under investigation.
