Powerhouse Gym members got a big surprise when they showed up to work out in Channelside on Tuesday.
The gym is shutting its doors on Friday, February 24.
Members have the option of a cheaper rate at a new location on Hillsborough Avenue.
If you're a member and you have prepaid for your membership, the gym says it will double your contract at the same rate and they are also offering refunds.
The owner says they're being evicted for not paying rent after a civil dispute. The building owner says another gym will most likely take over the space.
All personal trainers and training clients will be relocated to the Hillsborough location starting on Saturday.
