A march was organized in Ybor City, Wednesday night, protesting the results of the general election.
"We're not scared and by we I mean the LGBTQ community, women in America. I mean Muslims (and) I mean Mexicans," Victoria Fostini said.
Fostini set up the march on Facebook, naming it "Not My President Tampa Protest". She did not expect a big turnout.
"You know, I came out here even though I had a couple of death threats and someone called my job and threatened to get me fired," Fostini said.
"We are facing a lot of steps back (and) a lot of things are going to happen that are going to be different," one protestor said.
Some fear significant setbacks under the new president. Donald Trump was named the president-elect. People chanted, "Donald Trump go away".
"We're not going to be quiet. We're here (and) our voices are loud. We will be heard," Fostini said.
