PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — Pinellas Park Police are conducting a death investigation after a 27-year-old man was found dead in a small creek on Tuesday morning.
Police say Ezra Byrd, of St. Petersburg, was found deceased in a small creek that is located to the west of 40th Street in the 8400 block.
Police say that Byrd was discovered deceased by a passerby who observed him lying in the small creek.
At this time the death does not appear to be suspicious as there were no obvious signs of trauma to the
body, police say.
Detectives will continue to work with the Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office to determine his cause of death.
Police say that no further updates are expected in this investigation.
