Five teens have been arrested after they reportedly lured a man to a home in Riverview and robbed and carjacked him on Sunday evening.

On Sunday, September 11, at approximately 5 p.m., deputies responded to Lynmoor Drive in Riverview for reports of a robbery and a carjacking. The victim told deputies he went to the residence in regards to an ad he placed on Craigslist for repair work.

The victim says when he arrived at the home, he was greeted by two female suspects and a male suspect who stole the man's wallet, car keys and cell phone. The suspects then jumped into the victim's Chevrolet Cruze and drove away.

While deputies were responding to the scene, they saw the stolen vehicle around Big Bend Road and I-75 and attempted to pull the vehicle over. The suspects continued southbound on I-75 and exited at Sun City Center. The car came to a stop after the suspect drove it into the raised concrete storm drain in the Cypress Creek subdivision. Three of the five suspects in the car got out of the car and ran. Police arrested all five suspects and they were positively identified by a witness and the victim.

Javier Lopez, 18, Keenard Malik Wells, 19 and three other juveniles were arrested and charged.
