Two people have died from a 3-alarm house fire in Sarasota.
Crews responded to the home located in the 3000 block of Sugar Lane in the Kensington Park neighborhood around 2:57 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
Three people were inside the home when the fire started.
According to Sarasota County Fire Rescue, firefighters had to break through a concrete wall to rescue one person who was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Several surrounding roads have been blocked. Drivers are being asked to please avoid the area.
