SARASOTA, Fla. — A death investigation is underway in Sarasota after deputies found the body of a dead man Friday morning.
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said they first received a 911 call at approximately 8:50 a.m. for a home in the 2100 block of Banneker Way.
Upon arrival, with the Sarasota County Fire Department, deputies found a dead man, in his 20s, inside the home. At this time, detectives are working to notify next of kin.
